Coconut liqueur is a delicious, creamy drink that is perfect on its own or as a base for cocktails. Here is a simple homemade coconut liqueur recipe that you can easily make at home.
Ingredients:
50 ml MaxNatural Coconut Natural Flavouring
1l coconut milk
100 g coconut flakes
250 g granulated sugar
200 ml canned coconut cream
7-8 cloves
4 star anise
350 ml vodka
In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk and sugar, then add the star anise, cloves, coconut cream and bring to a boil. Once off the heat, add the MaxNatural Coconut Natural Flavouring and the vodka and leave to cool. Strain into glass jars and age in the fridge for a day or two to allow the flavours to blend well.
Shake the bottle well before use. Drink it on its own or in cocktails, but you can also use it in cakes.
The flavour of the liqueur improves over time, so you can leave it for up to a week to make it even better.
If you want a thicker, creamier consistency, increase the amount of coconut cream.
This homemade coconut liqueur is great for a variety of cocktails or even a simple iced drink. Cheers!
