Ingredients:
200 g flour.
100 g sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 egg
120 ml milk
80 ml oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
100 g chocolate (cut into pieces or chocolate chips)
100 g raisins
30 ml MaxAroma Chocolate Mint Flavour
Preparation:
Soak the raisins in the MaxAroma Chocolate Mug flavouring.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare the muffin tin and muffin papers.
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and oil. Mix well.
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until you have a smooth dough. Stir the chocolate chips and raisins into the dough and gently work them in.
Spoon the batter into the muffin tins, just 3/4 of the way up, to allow room for the batter to rise.
Bake the muffins in a preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre of the batter comes out clean.
Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your meal!
