Pears blanched in honey and cinnamon syrup with a touch of pear flavor and vanilla

Pears blanched in cinnamon syrup are a delicious and elegant dessert, ideal for any festive or special occasion. Here’s a recipe on how to make it:

Ingredients:

4-6 pears, ripe but still slightly firm

500 ml water

200 g sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

4 star anise

30 ml MaxAroma William Pear Aroma

10 drops MaxAroma Lemon Aroma

Fresh mint leaves for decoration

Preparation:

First prepare the pears. First of all, prepare the pears by washing them and cutting them in half.

To make the cinnamon syrup, in a medium saucepan, mix the water, sugar, cinnamon, MaxAroma William Pear Flavour, star anise and MaxAroma Lemon Flavour. Heat the syrup over medium heat and bring to the boil. Add the halved pears and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the pears are slightly softened but still slightly crisp.

When the pears are soft, remove them from the syrup and allow them to drain.

Boil the syrup for a further 10-15 minutes to thicken slightly and intensify the flavour. When the syrup is ready, remove the cinnamon and star anise and leave to cool slightly.

When the syrup is lukewarm, pour it over the pears and let them cool in the syrup. Serve garnished with fresh mint leaves and star anise.

Pears blanched in cinnamon syrup go perfectly with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, but are also a delicious dessert on their own. It’s sure to charm your guests and give them a special taste experience! Enjoy your meal!
