Ingredients:
200 g fresh cream cheese (e.g. Philadelphia)
10 ml MaxColor Blue Food Colouring
2 tablespoons sour cream or cream
1 tablespoon butter, room temperature
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives for garnish
extruded bread
saltine cracker for decoration
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream or heavy cream and butter until smooth and creamy. Add the MaxColor Blue food coloring and mix thoroughly. If you want a more even texture, you can use a hand mixer or stick blender. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Blend thoroughly. Place the finished cream cheese in an airtight container and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend.
Spread the cream cheese on the extruded bread and decorate according to your own or your child’s imagination. Enjoy your meal!
