E-numbers

The “base materials” of the flavourings and food colourings that we sell are all so-called “additives”, which are marketed with E numbers (a mark used to identify additives authorised in the EU), regardless of their origin – natural or artificial.
As E numbers mean something mysterious and harmful to most consumers, we have tried to provide a clear and correct source to understand them and to know the specific substances we use.
We therefore recommend to you the
HONESTLY AND CLEARLY ABOUT ADDITIVES as wll as the Wikipedia (the free encyclopaedia) description of the E numbers, giving details of their content.
The above is important for a number of reasons: to dispel the misconception that “everything with an E number is harmful…” and to inform consumers who are sensitive to an additive to use or not use the flavouring or colouring in question.
